MT. LEBANON SCHOOLS · 2017
The Matt’s Makerspace at Markham has a new home! After a busy start in the library, we had a spot open up in our building which provides more flexibility of time and space. We have purchased tables and colorful stools that can be used in different configurations for flexible grouping of students. The tables also fold and nest to provide an open work space for bigger projects. Since opening in the library in September, we have had all grade levels problem solving, collaborating, and creating. In addition to maker activities, students are learning to code using Blu-bots, Puzzlets, and Spheros.
