Pittsburgh Carmalt is a uniform whole school Magnet located in Pittsburgh's Brookline neighborhood that specializes in Science and Technology.  Science and technology are integrated throughout the school day to prepare students for their ever-changing world. Technology and science instruction begins with students in Kindergarten and progresses through the eighth (8th) grade.

 

The Matt's Maker Space at Carmalt was designed to supplement the STEAM program at the school. Outfitted with items such as 3-D printers, Cricut vinyl cutters and all kinds of tinkering supplies, the space is ready for project-based learning, collaboration and experiential learning.
