$2.5M Gift to create the Mario Lemieux Lymphoma Center for Children and Young Adults

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh unveiled Matt’s Maker Space, a new space specifically designed for Maker and STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics)-related programming. It will serve to appeal to and distract patients from their illnesses and allow them to engage in real-world problem-solving. 

Children's is proud to be one of the few pediatric hospitals in the country with a maker space available to the entire hospital.
