Cancer Bridges

Noelle Conover, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Matt’s Maker Space, has been working with Cancer Bridges (formerly known as Our Clubhouse) since 2009, when it was known as Gilda’s Club Western Pennsylvania, and is currently serving as Vice-Chair of their Executive Board. Cancer Bridges is a non-profit organization that aims to provide comfort, care, and community to those impacted by cancer. Cancer BRidges was first involved in remembering Matt Conover with the creation of Matt’s Media Room in 2011.

 

Cancer Bridges has offered Matt’s Maker Space classes since 2017 as a part of their summer program, Camp Clubhouse, in partnership with the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Matt’s Maker Space opened a space at Cancer Bridges in the fall of 2023.
