Matt’s Maker Space at Sister Thea Bowman Catholic Academy includes sewing machines, a plethora of craft material , and flexible workspace for group collaboration and individual creation. The team also used found and donated items to economically and sustainably decorate and furnish the space. A highlight of this space is the welcoming and cozy environment made by the comfortable chairs and fun, colorful rug that make the space perfect for creativity. It is an open area for fun and imagination, and provides the freedom for students to tinker and learn through doing.
