This Matt's Maker Space is located in the Franklin Building in the South Side of Pittsburgh. The space is one of our newest designs, created with an awareness of psychosocial and emotional learning needs. The outpatient population at this center are stepping down from an inpatient experience. Their day mirrors a school day and the building resembles a school. In the maker space, patients will be able to create, design, dream in a colorful, safe, and interesting space. Therapists will be able to work with patients in this setting as well. We believe this to be one of the first maker spaces in a mental health setting. We are truly excited about this project!
